This catalog lists publications from the Iowa Geological Survey. These publications provide information on the geological resources of Iowa, including the state's groundwater, bedrock, glacial materials, and mineral resources.

The IGS is actively converting 'out-of-print' publications into PDF format. Contact the IGS and inquire about the status of any publication without a pdf.

Some publications have a Pdf file available for viewing/downloading. With Pdf files in particular you may wish to download instead of viewing online unless you have a high speed internet connection. Just right click on the appropriate hotlink after the publication listing and 'Save Target As...' to download the associated file. Online purchasing is not currently available.
